How We Train

PLAY FIRST.
BUILD THE
SKILL.

The goal is not to memorize the “right” thing to do. It is to develop instincts that make you more present, responsive, and generous onstage.

Expect active exercises, scene work, ensemble practice, reflection, and plenty of opportunities to get out of your head.

01

Listen

Notice what is actually happening instead of planning ahead.

02

Support

Make your scene partner’s ideas more important, not less.

03

Commit

Make choices fully and discover where they lead.

04

Play

Stay curious enough to follow the unexpected thing.

Foundations

Start With Yes.

Your introduction to the craft of improvisation. Foundations builds the habits that make great scenes possible: listening, accepting what is given, making clear choices, and creating something together one moment at a time.

No comedy background. No acting experience. No pressure to be funny. Just show up ready to play, take a few risks, and discover what happens when you stop planning the next moment.

  • Designed for complete beginners
  • Listening, agreement & commitment
  • Characters, relationships & scene work
  • Build confidence through ensemble play
